Hamilton Too Hard on Yourself

McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh, asking racer Lewis Hamilton stopped feeling too responsible for what happened to him on the track. The British rider also have to stop apologizing to his team over the issue during the race.
"I told Hamilton to stop apologizing. As a rider, if he made a mistake, he must accept it, learn from those mistakes, and move forward," said Whitmarsh, Monday (31/10/2011) in London.
In India F1 series last weekend, Hamilton got a penalty back three positions at the start because it did not reduce speed when the yellow flag flying. At the race, Hamilton also brushed with the Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa, and finally only able to finish in seventh.
"He's very analytical and always doing his job the best way. However, he was too hard on yourself. I know Hamilton since competed in karting and he's always hard to motivate himself," said Whitmarsh.
