Alonso: It's The Development of Ferrari

Fernando Alonso
Fernando Alonso rate, the Ferrari effort to develop the car looks quite obvious from the results of the British Grand Prix qualifying on Saturday (07.09.11). In the session to determine the starting position during the race on Sunday (07.10.11) this, Alonso clocked the third best, behind Red Bull Racing duo Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel.

2005 and 2006 world champion said, Ferrari could not take advantage of new rules concerning exhaust issued FIA to race at Silverstone. Former Renault and McLaren driver was admitted, despite the ban on off-throttle diffuser simply affect the performance of other teams, but Ferrari look good for their hard efforts to develop the car.

From the results of qualifying, 0.117 seconds adrift of Alonso, Webber, who took pole position. By a narrow margin, the Spaniard is optimistic "Scuderia" can catch the Red Bull during the race later.

"I am very pleased, because these results are the best qualified this year in terms of the gap with the pole position," said Alonso. "We have left behind approximately one second or seven-tenths, but at Silverstone, which is not a favorite circuit, we were only 0.1 seconds adrift of pole. This is great news for us."
